BUILDING A PASSIVE HOUSE I. - courses from practice to practice
From designing with the PHPP program, common errors of contractors, to air tightness measurements - interdisciplinary!

We have prepared several courses for everyone who will participate in the construction of a passive or sNES (near-zero-energy building) in the future. We present a condensed overview of the most important causal links that condition the achievement of the desired quality of the building. In parallel, we will analyze errors that are a common cause of non-achievement of "paid" energy efficiency or even the cause of non-awarded subsidy, and above all, long-term dissatisfaction of the investor.

OBJECTIVES:

To encourage representatives of various professions to interdisciplinary cooperation and to train participants to recognize and master the key junctions of energy-saving construction.

By participating, you will receive an insight into the creation of a passive house and learn:
  • how a passive house is defined and why we talk about a standard for passive construction

  • is a passive house consistent with the goals of the European Commission in the development of almost zero energy houses

  • who is afraid of a passive house

  • when it pays to invest in a passive house and when not

  • about prejudices, doubts and fears related to the construction of a passive house

  • how to calculate the U-value of individual compositions

  • is the ventilation of the house necessary at all

  • when and if the house breathes at all, why airtightness, when vapor-permeable and much more...

THE COURSES ARE INTENDED FOR THE NEEDS:
  • Investors or future passive house owners

  • Designers and supervisors at the construction site

  • Contractors of construction - craft works

    • Masons, carpenters, roofers

    • Building carpenters

    • Facaders

    • Dry fitters

    • Electrical and mechanical installers

  • other interested professionals and laymen!

Lecturer: Peter Golob, Eng. Gr.

He has been a certified consultant for passive construction since 2009. He has twenty-five years of experience in the design and construction of passive houses. Since 1999, he has been in direct contact with the author of the 81Fünf construction system and representatives of the 81Fünf AG group from Germany, which has been offering ecological low-energy and passive prefabricated houses since the mid-90s.

He is the author of the first prefabricated passive house in Slovenia, which was handed over to a satisfied owner and occupied in 2003. He is also the author of the professional publication: "Methodology of building rehabilitation with components for passive houses", which is registered and published in the COBISS system.
